Digital Transformation Takes Center Stage at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference

Last week’s Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Toronto boasted a record 20,000 attendees and a strong international vibe with lots of global companies and partners represented.
In his WPC keynote speech, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella focused on the business opportunities created by the digital transformation as well as his vision for an all-cloud future. He encouraged attendees to “embrace technology of the future,” and talked about the impact of the Internet of Things and Virtual Reality which are connecting us in new ways.
Embracing technology of the future has always been a top priority for ClearDB. The digitization of the enterprise is creating an explosion of new applications and with those applications comes data that needs to be stored, organized and processed. Our innovative Database Services Platform (DSP) changes the way databases are purchased and consumed, enabling enterprises to increase database application efficiency.
WPC was a great venue for us to engage with Microsoft ecosystem partners and develop new relationships. Azure consumption continues to grow with the cloud infrastructure as its foundation and over 85% of the Fortune 500 are already using the Microsoft Cloud today.
More than 100,000 Azure customers around the world are using ClearDB’s database services and we are the default back-end database service for Azure website services, so any customer that runs web apps on the Azure cloud is benefiting from our solutions today.
Our new ClearDB Channel Partner Program unveiled at WPC allows partners to design and deliver a unique database-as-a-service (DBaaS) and empowers them to ensure their customers’ database-powered applications stay online and perform reliably.
We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and congratulate Elliot Fishman, winner of the 3DR Solo Drone Quadcopter!
Hope to see everyone again next year at WPC 2017 in Washington, DC!
